British Columbia and Manitoba have issued invitations to candidates through their respective Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), continuing Canada’s efforts to address provincial labor market needs and support economic immigration.
British Columbia: Focused on Skilled Workers in Key Sectors
On November 20, British Columbia conducted a category-based draw through its Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams, including the Express Entry BC (EEBC) option. The province issued a total of 16 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), with the minimum scores varying across targeted industries:

Eligible candidates can apply directly to the BC PNP or link their applications to the federal Express Entry system to enhance their chances of obtaining permanent residence through this streamlined process.
Manitoba: Prioritizing Skilled Workers and International Graduates
Manitoba held three draws on November 8 under its Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), inviting 274 candidates across various streams:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba (Occupation-Specific Selection):
Targeted occupation: National Occupational Classification (NOC) 60030 – Restaurant and Food Service Managers.
Invitations: 41 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs).
Minimum score: 672.
International Education Stream:
Invitations: 188 LAAs issued.
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream:
Invitations: 45 LAAs under a strategic recruitment initiative.
Minimum score: 703.
These draws aim to fill gaps in Manitoba’s labor market while offering a pathway for skilled workers and international graduates to establish themselves in the province.
