In a series of Express Entry draws throughout July 2024, the Canadian government issued over 25,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency. These draws focused on various categories including the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), French language proficiency, healthcare occupations, and trade occupations.
Key Highlights:
Canadian Experience Class (CEC): Two draws were held, inviting a total of 11,300 candidates with minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores of 510 and 515.
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP): Three draws issued a total of 3,275 ITAs to candidates with provincial nominations. CRS score requirements varied across draws, ranging from 670 to 739.
French Language Proficiency: 5,000 ITAs were issued across two draws to candidates with strong French language skills, with minimum CRS scores of 400 and 420.
Healthcare Occupations: One draw invited 3,750 candidates working in healthcare occupations with a minimum CRS score of 445.
Trade Occupations: A draw targeting trade occupations issued 1,800 ITAs with a minimum CRS score of 436.
