In the latest Express Entry draw, numbered 265, the Canadian government issued a total of 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to eligible candidates. What sets this draw apart is the absence of a specific program designation, which means invitations were extended to candidates across a spectrum of immigration pathways.
Candidates in the Express Entry pool with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 504 were fortunate recipients of the coveted ITAs. This draw encompassed candidates from diverse programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
This marks the second occurrence of a 'No Program Specified' draw within a single month. The previous 'No Program Specified' draw occurred on September 19, where a substantial 3,200 candidates were invited to apply across various programs, without any specific program category restrictions. The CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate who received an ITA during this draw was 531. This implies that candidates with an Express Entry profile boasting a CRS score of 531 or higher had the opportunity to receive an invitation during that particular draw.
It's noteworthy that the previous draw, draw #264, was designated as a "Transport occupations (2023-1)" draw. In this draw, the CRS score required to secure an ITA stood at a minimum threshold of 435 points, making it the second-lowest CRS score among the new category system draws. The sole draw with a lower CRS score requirement occurred on July 22, 2023, when the "French language proficiency" Category had a minimum requirement of 375 points.
