The draw required candidates to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 705. This follows a record-setting November that saw six draws and 5,507 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued across various immigration streams.

For 2024, this category is set to account for 82,980 permanent resident admissions—over 40% of Canada's planned admissions for the year.
Expanding Opportunities for Francophone Immigrants
IRCC's Francophone immigration strategy is also poised to play a key role in future draws. French-speaking candidates outside Quebec will benefit from increased allocations, with 29,235 PR admissions planned for 2025. This number is expected to grow in subsequent years, as Canada seeks to bolster its Francophone communities.
