In its latest Express Entry draw, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The draw, conducted today, required candidates to meet a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 509 in order to qualify for an invitation.
This CEC-specific draw marks the largest since July 31, when 5,000 candidates received ITAs. The higher CRS threshold in today's draw represents a slight increase from the previous CEC draw on August 27, where candidates needed a minimum score of 507 to be considered.
Today's event was the third Express Entry draw this month, following two last week. In those draws, 911 candidates were invited under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), and 1,000 candidates were invited in a category-based selection draw for French-language proficiency.
The CEC stream, part of Canada's broader immigration strategy, prioritizes individuals with Canadian work experience. These candidates are often considered well-suited to integrate into the country's economy and labor market.
