The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced a new round of invitations for permanent residence through the Express Entry system. This is the third draw of April 2024.
In this general draw, IRCC issued 2,095 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 529. This is a slight decrease from the previous draw on April 10th, which required a minimum CRS score of 549.
More Draws Targeting Specific Skills
Earlier in April, IRCC conducted a draw focused on attracting candidates in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) occupations. That draw saw a much lower CRS requirement of 491, reflecting Canada's ongoing need for skilled workers in these fields.
